agrinatura sAGRINATURA is an alliance formed by 33 European universities and research organisations working in agricultural research, education, training and capacity strengthening for development. Its members are involved in a broad range of issues related to agricultural research and education for development contributing through their expertise and experience. AGRINATURA focuses on initiatives that open up new opportunities for farmers to enhance food security and improve the agro-food sector in general, whilst reducing the negative impact of agricultural activities on the environment.

Thanks to AGRINATURA's unparalleled access to major research institutions and universities in Europe and the rest of the world, it is able to nurture scientific excellence through training and exchanges and further sustainable development in agriculture through joint research and education programmes and projects.

AGRINATURA is based on two pillars, the Association regrouping all members (Agrinatura Association) and the EEIG (Agrinatura-EEIG), which is its operational arm.

The implementing AGRINATURA members in the FARMAF project are: CIRAD, NRI and WUR.
