We have learnt with shock the sudden passing away of the President of the Republic of Zambia – Mr Michael Sata. On behalf of Team FARMAF we wish to express our sincere condolences to the Board, Management and Members of the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) as they join the late President Sata's family and the entire nation of Zambia in mourning his death. It is our prayer that the people of Zambia will be comforted and also that the political transition will be peaceful.

President Michael Chilufya Sata became President of Zambia in September 2011 as leader of the ruling Patriotic Front. He died aged 77.
